Snap Islands was started by Dan Kaser, co-owner of San Diego BBQ, Inc. Through our sister company we sell the entire catalog of grills, pizza ovens, refrigerators and cabinetry available through San Diego BBQ. We are a local San Diego Business that operates as far north as Temecula and as far south as Chula Vista. If you are outside our service range and are still interested in Snap Islands, feel free to reach out and we will do our best to accommodate.

Snap BBQ Islands are warrantied for the life of the product. Our frames are extremely weather resistant and heavy-duty, as such we are confident that our BBQ Islands will withstand the test of time. Also, you receive factory warranties through San Diego BBQ on all grills and components.

Every BBQ Island we build is fully custom, so the price range varies from job to job. But you can expect to pay between $1,200 and $2,500 per linear foot, out the door, depending on counter top, siding materials and chosen grill & components.

Since every island we build is completely custom the options are virtually unlimited, but we find most people will do a grout-minimized porcelain tile counter top and stucco that is textured to match their home. Other options include a granite slab counter top, caeserstone, quartz and concrete. Some siding options include porcelain tile, painted stucco and ledger stone. We purchase materials from many local vendors so if you see something you like just let us know and we will do our best to incorporate it into your custom BBQ island.

Through our sister company, San Diego BBQ, Inc., we are permitted to attach above-ground gas lines. But we do not install electrical components, water plumbing, or underground gas plumbing. For situations beyond our scope of work, we are happy to provide a list of approved and trusted vendors.

Our proprietary Snap Frame System allows us to use adjustable leveling feet to get your island  level. This ensures your hot dogs will never roll off your grill and into the pool!

Yes we do! Ready To Finish BBQ islands are very popular these days. Many customers are already working with a contractor or landscaper who may have stucco and tile subcontractors. We are happy to provide the Ready To Finish BBQ Island at a lower cost to the customer, assembled, delivered and leveled in place--Ready To Finish.
